Papal blogging

Oh, and I forgot! New Pope!

I have this to say. If the Roman Catholic Church was wanting a pope that will try to stay the world from change and bring about the inevitable fall of the Catholic Church, then "Bravo, you have your man!" When are the Catholics going to learn that trying to enforce archaic belief systems that were made by MAN is going to alienate people who want to believe? When are they going to learn that keeping tradition is not the same thing as keeping the faith? When are their emasculated brains going to realize that even God and the Bible stress change. You can not be a rock in a running river and not be carved into shape. Yet they have placed themselves, as if a monolith, in the ocean and try to not be changed.

Psalm 46 "1: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2: Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; 3: though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. [Selah] 4: There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. 5: God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God will help her right early. 6: The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. 7: The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. [Selah] "

The truths of decency, morality, love, peace, faith, and righteousness do not change but man's perception of them does. God said that above all things is love. Let us act in love in making the moralities of church, not in the dried parchments of hate from the past.
