fighting evil

Tribulations of the smallish kind

It seems like everytime I go out feeling cheerful and knowing that I have the whole day to myself, I end up realizing while I'm out that I've left the keys to my house in the house. So I come back home grumbling and pissed off, hopefull that I've left at least one window unlocked to try and boost my fat ass into. And it also seems that no one is ever around as I struggle and slam around trying to get the damn storm window out and clear out everything from in front of the window but as soon as my fat ass is hanging out of the window, some man always shows up to volunteer to climb through for me.

That was also the case today as well. *giggle* I went out, deposited a check, went to the DMV to renew my license (*grumble grumble*) and wouldn't you know it the machine was down (bad luck for me as it actually expired yesterday), then walked across the square to renew my tags where I find out that not only did I lock my keys at home WITH the cell phone, but also that my old car Further was never transferred into the buyers name before he trashed it beyond compare. So I owe taxes for last year AND this year on that car and also renewal on my current car *headsmash*. In addition, I had to apply for a duplicate title so that I can junk that damn car, which cost more money (*rabble rabble* as South Park would say). Then although I was planning on picking up some lunch, I just gave up and came home knowing that I still needed to find a way into the house as Jason's not coming back from work until 10ish tonight.

Fast forward to Susan's big ol ass sticking out of the window when the worker for the new duplex owners comes around the corner and offers assistance. I tell you, at this moment, I'm hungry, cobweb covered, and still driving around on an expired license. Could life be any more comical?

Drum solos to makeyou smile

A happy accident or something sinister? You decide :)

received a voice message on my phone, I go to listen to it and it's a lovely drum solo followed by a "Hello?" and a click. I check the number and it's for a collections law firm in Massachusetts. Quite odd don't you think?
