Catharsis - The Void: Mind Wanderings of a Lost Soul
Do you ever hear a song and get all teary because you just feel that song so much right at that moment. Having one of those moments, but I don't want to hear how dorky I am to be having it to a popular song. This one's not obscure but I think it has one of the most beautiful, bittersweet, inspiration messages I've ever heard. You know Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway"? I was hearing it and had lots of thoughts about some things that I'll talk about later and I believe it's inspiring me a bit (anyone expect massive photoshoping?), but for now I want to just put down the lyrics for my own profit for later.

Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I just stared
out my window
Dreaming of what could be
And if I'd end up happy
I would
pray (I would pray)

Trying hard to reach out
But when I'd try to speak
Felt like no one could hear me
Wanted to belong here
But something
felt so wrong here
So I pray (I would pray)
I could

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to
I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky
I'll make a wish
Take a
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the
But I won't forget all the ones that I loved
I'll take a risk
a chance
Make a change
And breakaway

Wanna feel the warm
Sleep under a palm tree
Feel the rush of the ocean
Get onboard a
fast train
Travel on a jet plane, far away (I will)

Buildings with a hundred
Swinging around revolving doors
Maybe I don't know where they'll
take me but
Gotta keep moving on, moving on
Fly away,

I'll spread my wings
And I'll learn how to fly
it's not easy to tell you goodbye
I gotta take a risk
Take a
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the
But I won't forget the place I come from
I gotta take a risk
Take a
Make a change
And breakaway, breakaway, breakaway

Feeling: contemplative contemplative

While you are feeling inspired...

Beautiful lyrics, I believe I have heard this.

A friend sent this clothing site and I think you would love it.

Yes that happens a lot. I was recently listening to "She's a brick house" and tears streamed down my face. :P

There are 3 songs that hit me everytime. Miles Davis - Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World (before they started using it in all the commercials, which really wreaked havoc on me), Ugly Kid Joe - Cats in the Cradle (reminds me of the relationship I have with my own father; the Harry Chapin version is good too, but I heard Ugly Kid Joe first) and Trisha Yearwood - How Do I (and only her version, it makes me feel vulnerable).

I've found that music brings more of my emotions out then anything else. I thought men were suppossed to be visual!

I do that a lot. Just today Hoobastank's Reason had me crying for no reason. And I hate when it's a "pop" song too. They're not meant to be emotional, but for whatever reason they are. I love Kelly Clarkson. The Trouble With Love Is, is another one of hers that gets me crying.

I'm just a sap.
