I miss traveling. Used to be that if you wanted to find me, you just had to catch me in between journeys. I have been to so many places, always looking for home, just not home as I've known it. Years have passed. No longer will you find me planning my next great adventure. You won't find AAA trip tics for any recent wandering, or old Greyhound bus stubs. You won't find a suitcase half packed smelling of sea salt, or half-used bottles of suntan lotion. I haven't kept up my scrapbook collection of beer bottle labels or crazy pressed plants. I haven't picked my own sage in awhile. I miss making friends over miles of road and cd collections. I miss seeing the landscapes blend away into exotic....the stories of spooky roads that I found myself on.....the one time only pit stops into a strange truckers diner or a collectors den. My wanderlust is suffering from stagnation. My creativity is dying from lack of inspiration.....I'm so jealous of Catherine who will be making a 7-8 hour trek to move down here. I want change! I want adventure! I want to flee this place with revolution dripping from my lips and a wind-surfing hand out the window! By god, I deserve it! I will have it!....just when.....
You're The Fellowship of the Ring!
by J.R.R. Tolkien
Facing great adversity, you have decided that your only choice is to
unite with your friends and neighbors. You have been subject to a ton of squabbling and
ultimately decided that someone humble is your best candidate for a dangerous mission.
You're quite good with languages and convinced that not all who wander are lost. If you
see anyone in black robes on horseback, just run. That's just common sense.
